"I wasn't scared — but he's a drugs counselor. What was I thinking?

"Then I was handed a load of crack. Barry was very frightened — that kind of messed everything up a bit really."

The marriage ended in 16 days and O’Connor said  "It felt like I was living in a coffin. It was going to be a coffin for both of us and I saw him crushed.

"The whole reason I ended it was out of respect and love for the man."

She accepted Herridge had been left "frightened" by her mad search for drugs on the night they were married.

I heard her husband scored some crack but then he rolled her over.
How interesting that so many of the commentors pointed out the hypocrisy of the continuing media usage of this woman. And the one that pointed out Barry being in an embarrasing position when she was "shopping" in LV got it right: how effective a drug counselor could he be if he did not have the cajones to put the kibosh on her activities (or words to that effect!) Please: either do the "B-Movie of the Week" on her life or give it a rest, like you said you were going to.
Hi Niall, Last week you asked us to leave the crazy woman alone. Why don't you follow your own advice?
She wasn't looking for crack. This article takes qoutes greatly out of context. A real tabloid farce.
More and more sad the more we learn. Barry was perhaps her last chance at someone really loving her and wanting the best for her. I guess she'll just have to go "party" herself to death.
She's supposed to have the craic, not the crack. A vile drug. Poor woman.
This is hypocrisy of the highest order. A couple of days ago your editor wrote a piece saying this woman needs help and her life should not be in the public eye. Now you publish this story! SHAME on you!
It is all lies! There is no crack for sale anywhere in the United States- it was them North Korearanians that told the lies to discredit Amurka!!
Jane Brady & Irish central, PLEASE, make a New Year resolution and stop writing about this depraved, troubled, addictive, though, otherwise very talented woman. It is nothing but trash news . Say a prayer for her.
How could She expose her husband to this kind of experience? and then write about it, like a comic strip of hilarious blunders that reads like an adolescent farce...my heart goes out to Barry and his family, his clients and friends..He is an eegit for rushing into a marriage that starred Him as an Idiot, jesus and He is a counsellor? lol
Why are we still reading about a washed up celebrity and her drug induced lifestyle. A lifestyle that is self induced. Her behavior shows she wants to die, let her.
Enough..OK
A drugged out skank is well, a drugged out skank. Further more, if this drugs counselor didn't aee this then what does it say for him??
When a brain goes haywire it's very hard to cure.
Her epitaph should read, "What was I thinking?" Lovely voice, but she's the perfect example of poor impulse control............
