Robert Pattinson is the man most women would like to kiss according to a new survey. When it comes to kissing they'd rather kiss Rob than swap spit with Brad Pitt.

Pattinson finishes at 54 percent, well clear of Johnny Depp in second place at only 17 percent and Brad Pitt in third at just ten percent.

Pattinson's victory ushers in a new era of Hollywood top dogs. Depp, George Clooney and Brad Pitt have been on top for so long in the male romance lead stakes that it seems they would be there for ever.

Pattinson however, as befits a Brit, has claimed the crown. Not only that his fellow Twilighters, Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner also makes the tip top list. So it is out with the old, in with the new as we turn towards a new year

It goes to show that Pattinson and “Twilight” generally is more than a teen fad phenomenon. There appears to be many women well into their late twenties and thirties who believe that robbing a kiss from Rob starts their engines. This latest survey bears this out.

I think the majority has the reason to vote for Rob. If you want yours to be the winner why you did not try to get it true. How jealous you all are !!! I'm glad that he is still very popular though you all have tried to knock him down. All the articles I read in this website are negative about him. It is strange to me. It is better that I should not access to this web any more.

WHAT?!! come on!! NOBODY CAN REPLACING JOHNNY DEPP!HE IS UNIQUE AND BEAUTIFULL..AND GOOD ACTOR TOO.this rob pattinson is the new guy,ONLY THAT,and for only a movie you cant named the america'S heartthrob..even sexy,omg...what are you doing???

I'll take Johnny Depp over the whole lot of them, Robert Pattinson,laughing@DerryPatrick but I agree, he isn't always photogenic. The kids like him, thats fine, but to put him in the same class as Johnny Depp is insulting. He looks like he needs a good bath and a shampoo. I have seen him in a few other movies unrelated to New moon and twilight, he was OK but he won't win any Oscars yet, he's interesting looking I guess,but he is so filthy looking. Brad Pitt has seen better days, he is dirty looking too, does he ever take that stupid hat off? that leaves George Clooney, at least he's clean, and he is a pretty good actor, they must poll a bunch of people from 20 years old on down, not many 30 or 40 somethings like him that much. I saw him on TV being interviewed and he is kind of sneaky looking. LOL

Of course Rob is a fantastic heart throb all on his own. I do not think that he would like to think of himself as replacing anyone though. He is so self deprecating and does not want to be looked at as a heart throb or man-meat. So I think we will leave the others on their high pedestals. Rob has many years of acting to judge still, although he is rather dreamy and dreamy is not bad ;)

If Kellan Lutz and Taylor Launter also made that list you know it must be bogus. At least I can see why someone MIGHT vote for Pattinson but those two are not remotely attractive. They might be number one in a silly survey but the rest of us all know surveys don't really count for anything.

There is NO WAY that anyone will ever replace my darling Johnny Depp. I got to meet him and he gave me the most awesome hug that I have ever had. I love that man with all my heart!!
