Christopher Nolan’s new Batman movie “Dark Knight Rising”

New images have been leaked on the Internet of Christopher Nolan’s new Batman movie “Dark Knight Rising” filming in New York this weekend, near Wall Street. The images show our hero Batman (Christian Bale) battling the pumped-up baddie Bane (Tom Hardy). They also show Batman’s right-hand ‘man’ Catwoman (Anne Hathaway ) on in her much debated outfit.

Some of the footage (see below) shows a bird’s eye view of Bane’s gang taking on Gotham’s Finest and Batman. The footage also gives us a look at the resigned, and new in improved Batmobile.

New photos also show us a quick shot of Matthew Modine who plays a corrupt cop named Nixon . He’s rumored to be the villain in the movie although nothing has been confirmed. However, he was a spotted working closely with the director on set.

The scenes that have been released are very similar to those released following filming in Pittsburgh.

The movie will be released on July 12, 2012.
