His life is 'really boring,' Butler says

Gerard Butler is in hot water after telling two female fans to 'f... off after they pinched his buttocks during a night out at a London nightclub.

“Get a f***ing life!” Gerard swore at the female fans, according to British tabloid the Daily Mirror. “Go on f*** off.”

“The girls looked a bit sheepish as Gerard headed across the road for yet more booze,” a source told the paper.

Gerard, 40, said recently his life is “really boring”.

“I just like to go back home and chill out with friends. It sounds really boring but it’s true,” he said.

“Sometimes I finish a movie and I get used to a certain lifestyle and when that stops I get a bit lost for about a week. "No one is bringing me lunch anymore — I’ve gotta go do that myself?"

“I lose the main point of my focus. Often all I want to do is travel and just get the hell outta there. But I’m actually boring really.”

Butler starred in 'PS I love you' the Irish romantic movie based on the Cecelia Ahern book of the same name. He is a frequent visitor to Ireland where his family originally came from.

I also agree that the news people should get their facts straight. This isn't the first story where I read that Gerard was drinking alcohol. They should know that he hasn't had a drink in over 12 years now. And, I also agree that people should respect his privacy. Just because he is an actor does not mean that he is giving up every bit of privacy in his life. Respect him as he respects you. Come on. GOOD FOR YOU GERARD for putting them in their places!!!

I think he had every right to do what he did. I would want to do the same thing if I had strangers pinching my a**. That was extremely rude of those girls. I support Gerard with his response all the way - good for him.

What was wrong with Gerald Butler telling the women off? It sounds like the appropriate response. What was he supposed to do, let them keep pinching? As for the comment that he likes to stay home with his friends and live a boring life, it sounds as though he was expressing his enjoyment of a quiet life with those close to him, not complaining.

Someone at irishcentral should get their facts straight. Gerard Butler stopped "boozing" 12 years ago. He hasn't had a drink in 12 years. He also quit smoking. Those girls were ooutrageous to touch the man without his permission. If he had done that to them they would have screamed to high heaven. I don't know where some people get their gaul to think they can just touch someone anywhere they please without getting a bad reaction from that person. They should have thought about how they would have felt if he had pinched their bottom before they assaulted him that way. I'm really surprised his reacton wasn't stronger, I would have slapped someone's face for touching me in such a personal way without permission. Good for you, Gerard Butler, it's about time people learned to respect your privacy the way you respect theirs. Just because you are an actor doesn't give anyone the right to touch you inappropriately.

I think those girls where way outta line, rude, disrepectful and ill manored.They acted very childish and lacked in self repect and class. They really need to take a modling course to learn how to have class, self worth self repect and freshen up on their social skills and public behavior.I think if these girls had the chance to "re-do" that night all over again but this time as educated,more mature, repectful young ladies with the ability to socialize and act properly in public, they just might see the real side of Gerard Butler and would probably get a friendlier nicer reply insted of the negative feedback. Gerad is awsome and sexy but is still just like us..a human being who deserves to be treated with respect in a normal fashion & be able to go out in public and enjoy whatever his day brings him without the wolves comming out to feed. Grow up girls, a real life awakes.

I think Gerard Butler had every right to tell the two woman where to go. Who do they think they are touching someone like that? Usually if he is approached by paparrazi or reporters and treated with respect he is respectful back. There is a fine line and those two fans crossed it.

Holy Cow! Women have been screaming about sexual harrassment for such a long time, I think these girls could've controlled themselves better. The kid's not beef-on-the-hoof for you to grab, poke, pinch, or prod! I like him and believe he deserves respect...so, back off!

I don't want to comment on the main story of him swearing at two girls sexually harassing him. Rather I'd like to focus on the fact that he thinks his life is boring. That's sad that he thinks that of himself. I feel like that sometimes when I'm depressed.

Why is it that when a woman tells a man to f... off no one thinks anything of it, but if a man especially a famous man does it the world stops? I think Gerard had every right to tell those ladies to f... off and back up. Good for you Gerard.
