The ultra busy, uber sexy Colin Farrell has made the dreams of an Irish girl come through when he agreed to go on a dinner date with her to help raise money for a charity she has set up.

Emma Fogarty, 25, is one of the few people in Ireland who has an excruciating skin condition.

Doctors call those with the condition "butterfly children" because the person's skin is as sensitive as butterfly's wings.

Emma was overjoyed when Farrell, who is now based in Hollywood, agreed to help out with fundraising for DEBRA Ireland, the charity she set up to help with funding vital research and provide care for people with the condition.

Colin said he was "so moved" by the efforts of Emma that he would make time available to set up a dinner date with her and a few others who raise money for the charity.

Emma who is from Abbeyleix, in County Louth, was diagnosed with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) when she was a baby.

She has been living with the condition ever since.

"It was a huge shock to my parents when they found out I was born with it," said Emma last week.

Emma finds it's difficult to walk because of the skin condition and her fingers are fused together making everyday chores difficult to accomplish.

She also has to change the bandages on her body everyday.

"I get up in the morning and I do my bandages first thing, to get it over with," she said.

"I have to take off the old bandages and burst any blisters which have appeared over night.

"It's normal for me, I have never known anything else," she added.
