Fans of traditional Irish dance and music descend on Killarney for The Gathering Festival. Visitors fill the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney for the mix of live concerts and set dancing classes. Now in its thirteenth year, the festival will include a stellar line-up of concerts including performances by Danú, Seán Tyrell and The Glacken Brothers and more.

The kettle is on and organisers are gearing up for Tedfest 6, with various events taking place on the Aran Islands. Tedfest is a unique celebration of "Father Ted" on the island of Inis Mor. It celebrates everything to do with the cult sitcom.
