Irish pop star Niall Horan has confirmed that One Direction are to collaborate with chart topper Justin Bieber.

Horan, the only Irish member of One Direction took to Twitter to make the announcement.

To the delight of teenage fans across the globe the Mullingar teenager tweeted: : “in the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night , its gona sound great!”

Bieber’s manager had previously stated on Twitter that the artists, who share a similar fan base, should work together.

“all people of that generation should be there to help each other,” Scooter Braun said.

Bieber took to the social networking recently to congratulate the boy band on their success.
“congrats to my dudes @onedirection for the #1 album on itunes and @thewantedmusic for the #2 on singles. We share the same queen. #Canadian”.

Runners up in Simon Cowell’s British TV show The X Factor, One Direction have enjoyed incredible success in the U.S. with their album ‘Up All Night’ topping the US Billboard 200 chart.

The manufactured boy band will headline what is likely to be a sell-out concert at Madison Square Gardens in December.
