Liam Neeson journeyed to he and his late wife Natasha Richardson’s favorite vacation spot for an Easter retreat this past weekend.

The couple and their family had booked a long Easter weekend in St. Tropez in the South of France before Richardson died in a skiing accident last month.

The brokenhearted Irish actor went on to St. Tropez without his beloved late wife for the first time, and was accompanied by his sons, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12, Richardson’s mother, Vanessa Redgrave, sister, Joely Richardson and Joely’s daughter, Daisy.

Reports say that Neeson, 56, looked weary and sad as he spent time with the group at the St. Tropez beachside bar Le Club 55.

In happier news for the actor, Neeson has signed on to voice a character in a new Walt Disney animated movie, “Ponyo.”

Neeson will lend his voice alongside Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Lily Tomlin, Cloris Leachman and Betty White.

The new film is inspired by “The Little Mermaid,” and features a lively goldfish named Ponyo that is determined to become a human.
