Here's a strange one – TMZ reports that Irish actor Jack Reynor, who starred in last year’s mega-hit Transformers: Age of Extinction, could be hit with a $1 million judgment because he failed to respond to a lawsuit filed against him after a traffic accident in LA.

The incident occurred in 2012. Reynor, 22, hit and injured two pedestrians in a Hollywood intersection. They suffered injuries and sued him last fall for at least $25,000.

The actor, who recently wrapped filming The Secret Scripture with Rooney Mara in Dublin, never responded to the lawsuit, so the plaintiffs were awarded a default victory that could see a million-dollar payoff, TMZ says.

The website contacted Reynor’s people for an explanation but heard zip in reply. Very odd for sure.
