Sunawin Andrews, the ex-girlfriend of Michael Fassbender, has asked the LA courts to dismiss her petition for a restraining order that she filed last month.

Her petition made several claims against the 32-year-old “Inglorious Basterds” actor and sought to have him keep at least 100 yards away from her.

Though Fassbender did not comment at the time, his father spoke out in shock.

“I don't know where she is getting this story from, Michael is the most gentle man you could ever meet," he said.

The restraining order was filed for following an alleged argument in July 2009. According to the legal papers Fassbender arrived home from a film festival drunk and then became violent towards Andrews.

Fassbender will start in the upcoming action epic “Centurion”, which will be released on April 15.
