Hailing from Northern Ireland, Fathers Martin O'Hagan, Eugene O'Hagan, and David Delargy, better known to their millions of fans as the Priests, have announced plans for their first U.S. concert tour his fall.

The multi-city tour will begin November 13 in Minneapolis, and conclude December 4 in Dallas.
When the Priests released their self-titled album back in 2008, they could have had little inkling of what was about to happen to them. Frankly, who would?

As it transpired, plenty did -- huge record sales, record-breaking triumphs, global fame, the racking up of a lot of air miles. To employ a motoring metaphor, they went from zero to 60 in under three seconds.

"It was," understates Martin O'Hagan, "quite a rollercoaster ride."

Which means that now, three years on, Martin O'Hagan, Eugene O'Hagan and David Delargy are among the most recognized, and successful, acts in both the religious and secular worlds.

To date, they have sold over three million copies of their debut album, which sold at such a frantic pace it quickly secured them a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest-selling classical debut of all time. The broadcast of a PBS Priests concert special this year has also been hugely popular among U.S. TV viewing audiences.

They were, to seemingly everyone, an irresistible proposition, gracing the pages of Time magazine and every newspaper in the land, sharing sofa space with Regis and Kelly, featured on CBS News Sunday Morning, and more upright chairs with Sir Trevor McDonald in the U.K.

They have sung all across the world, and to audiences that included the British royal family and the Irish president, and, more recently, been nominated for two Classical Brit Awards.

The Priests also shared a stage with the Pope before a crowd of 80,000 people in Hyde Park, England in September 2010 and millions watched on television at home.

Tickets for the Priests first U.S. concert performances are available at Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets, BREpresents.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or at the box office of each presenting venue. The Priests tour is produced by BRE Presents.
