Boston Ma: Dorchester Irish Festival celebrates its 5th Anniversary

Takes place Sunday, October 11th

Since its introduction in 2010, the Dorchester Irish Festival has grown to become Boston's premiere Irish Festival. With 100% of profits donated each year to local charities, it is clear that the spirit and generosity that Irish people are known for throughout the world is alive and well in Dorchester.

Expecting crowds in excess of 7000 people, the committee has worked hard to create a multigenerational event each year.

A day of heritage, open to all sees many people returning year after year.

Orchestrated by a small steering committee with a passion that permeates the grind of logistics, acquiring permits and all that needs to happen behind the scenes.

Sean Weir, Pat McDonough and Maureen Keady are to be commended for achieving high standards in music, dance, programming, vendors, volunteers, food and activities. Realizing that they are presenting an ambitious schedule, special care is taken so that each Artist can shine.

Irish Eyes will be smiling in Dorchester again this year and all are welcome. For more information, visit www.dorchesteririshheritagefest.com.
