Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne has inspired many by his portrayal of a psychotherapist in "In Treatment," and secured his position as one of Ireland’s foremost actors.
 
From silver screen performances in "Miller’s Crossing" and "The Usual Suspects" to theater roles as James Tyrone Jr. in Eugene O’Neill’s "A Moon for the Misbegotten" and Major Cornelius (“Con”) Melody in "A Touch of the Poet," the Dublin native’s versatility has brought him an enduring career.
 
A native speaker, Byrne has been involved in many Irish productions and wrote an Irish language drama, "Draoicht," in 1996.
