16 hotels in Ireland and one in Northern Ireland are among the 139 hotels in Ireland and the UK that have received Key distinctions by Michelin for 2025.

The Michelin Guide Inspectors revealed their new Key distinctions on October 8, highlighting what they consider to be the most outstanding hotels in Ireland and the UK.

Michelin likes their Key distinctions, which they introduced last year, to their Stars for restaurants.

Overall for 2025, the Michelin Guide hotel selection for Great Britain and Ireland includes 14 Three-Key hotels, 43 Two-Key hotels, and 82 One-Key hotels, with 19 hotels newly awarded this year.

Adare Manor - Co Limerick

Michelin describes Adare Manor as "a gracious world unto itself" and "elegant without a trace of fustiness."

Ballyfin Demesne - Co Limerick

"There’s nothing else in Ireland quite like Ballyfin Demesne," Michelin says, adding that it is "an opulent fantasy to rival any country-house hotel you could name."

Two Key Hotels

Cashel Palace - Co Tipperary

Cashel Palace is "an aesthetic triumph," Michelin says, adding that it is a "historical hotel that does justice to its heritage, while also presenting a fresh look and a modern sensibility."

Ashford Castle - Co Mayo

Michelin says that in its "new incarnation," Ashford Castle's "historical atmosphere remains front and center even while its comforts have been adapted to the needs of modern luxury travelers."

Park Hotel Kenmare - Co Kerry

The Park Hotel Kenmare is "neither a modern experiment nor a strict period piece, but something altogether timeless," Michelin says.

Sheen Falls Lodge - Co Kerry

Regency House Belfast - Co Antrim

Michelin says Regency House Belfast is "a haven of modern-day luxury inside a beautiful Georgian building."

Gregans Castle Hotel - Co Clare

Michelin describes Gregans Castle Hotel as "a 250-year-old manor house, lovingly maintained, thoroughly renovated, and reopened as a charming and elegant country house hotel."

Castlemartyr Resort - Co Cork
