Speaking after Saturday's match, Kerry captain Gavin White told the GAA: "As you grow up as a young fella, you always want to play in All-Ireland finals - playing football, the biggest day is in Croke Park.

"The start of the year, it's always the target, for every team in the country, so to be here is absolutely brilliant."

Donegal captain Paddy McBrearty offered similar sentiments on Sunday: "It was our goal at the start of the year to get back here."

Kerry and Donegal will now duke it out for the Sam Maguire Cup at 3:30 pm local time in Dublin's Croke Park on Sunday, July 27.

Tickets for the final are on sale via GAA clubs.
