An Aer Lingus plane bound for Florida has returned to Dublin after a scare involving “technical fault.”

Flight EI121 was two hours into its journey from Dublin to Orlando when the pilot decided to make a u-turn. The plane was just south of Iceland at the time.

The airline has confirmed that a “technical fault” had occurred and that the plane and all its passengers had landed safely at Dublin Airport.

The Journal reports that alternate travel arrangements are being made for the passengers tomorrow.
