Revealed: What are Irish people’s top bucket list destinations?

Warning: wanderlust guaranteed! How many of these top holiday wishlist destinations for Irish people have you been to?

According to a national survey, Irish people are united on their desire to jet off on a South African safari.

A national RED C survey conducted on behalf of independent travel specialists, Travel Counsellors has revealed that one in three people consider a safari as a 'bucket list' item.

Hanging with wildlife on the plains was closely followed by whale watching in Alaska considered a must-do for 28% of people.

Meanwhile, partying the night away at Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil was a preference for a further 27% of people.

The survey of over 1,000 also found that among those aged between 18-24, scuba diving or snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef was top of the agenda for 33% of Irish millennials.
