Derry singing star Conor McGinty is making a strong bid to be the guest star on the hit US chat show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this St. Patrick’s Day.

McGinty has previously had major TV success with brilliant performances bringing him to the advanced stages of “The X Factor” in the UK.

His audition for the Ellen show is a moving version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
