Been to Ireland lately and spent some time in the Shannon Region, or about to so? If you took some photos and have a favorite shot, why not enter the Shannon Development's photo competition and be in with a chance to win $1400!
For those who were so swept away by their Irish Holiday or are about the take their dream trip to to the Emerald Isle, the Shannon Region consists of Clare, Limerick, North Tipperary and South Offaly.
Competition entrants will have plenty of fantastic subjects to shoot. In Clare alone, the Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle, Dromoland Castle, the Burren and Lahinch are but a few of the fantastic scenic locations that will bring out the best in any photographer.
If you pass through Limerick, the home of Frank McCourt will offer plenty of vistas worth a photo or two. Or the quaint village of Adare with its thatched cottages and ornate shops will give you plenty of source material to mine some fabulous photos.
Once you pick your best shot, simply e-mail it to SummerSnaps@ShannonDevelopment.ie. The competition runs until September 15 and the winner will receive and e-mail before September 30, and a collection of some of the photos will be shown on www.shortbreaksireland.ie in October.
