Shane Long has responded to rumors linking the Irish striker with a move to Premiership side West Ham by committing himself to Championship side Reading.
Long has been in scintillating form as of late scoring 6 goals in his last 5 games which has attracted interest from potential suitors.
West Ham have emerged as one of these potential suitors with manager, Avram Grant, expected to look to bolster his attack during the January transfer window.
However the Republic of Ireland international has insisted that he is happy playing for Reading and does not see himself leaving the Madejski Stadium, "I'm enjoying my football here at Reading at the moment and I know this team is destined for big things and I want to be a part of that. I just have to concentrate on my own game and what will be will be."
