Will Tiger Woods keep his pledge to Irish charity?
Will he, won't he?
Speculation is rife that
Tiger Woods will show up at an Irish charity event as planned for July, 2010.
Woods won the
JP McManus Invitational Pro-Am in 2000 and pledged that he would be back to help celebrate the tournament's 20th anniversary.
The charity event, which will take place July 5 and 6, has raised more than $55m in the 20 years since it started in 1990.
Organizers have already secured confirmation from
Samuel L. Jackson and
Hugh Grant as well as professional golfers
Padraig Harrington and Anthony Kim.
The event is held every five years in the Adare Manor in
County Limerick and raises money for mid-western charities and groups who work with the underprivileged and disadvantaged.
