Notre Dame's Brian Kelly talks about maximizing the team's strength ahead of USC game

Brian Kelly talks to the media on Tuesday Oct. 11 about Sophomore QB Andrew Herndrix, the first QB to rush for 100 yards in a game in the last 10 years, Freshman outside Linebacker Ishaq Williams and the dual threat that Freshman RB/KR George Atkinson III provides

Kelly also commented on how to maximize the the bye week ahead of the crunch game with USC on Oct 22.

In Kelly's career, he is 12-1 coming out of a bye week. The Irish faithful are very hopeful that he maintains this record ahead of the biggest game of the season.

Kelly also talks about the death of  Xavier Murphy. Murphy, who graduate from the University in 2011, died early Tuesday morning four short weeks after being diagnosed with leukemia. He was working as an intern with the equipment managers while attending graduate school this year.
