Irish TV audiences got a party piece with a difference last night when the Dublin entrant for the Rose of Tralee performed a hip hop routine.

Siobheal Nic Eochaidh broke tradition by dancing up a storm on stage at the annual beauty pagent in her black floor length gown. Grooving to “Lose your mind”, her gangsta style moves have even caught the attention of the LA gossip hound Perez Hilton, who posted the video clip on his site exclaiming: “What the hell is this?? We have no idea, but it's totally making our day!

Queensland's Tara Talbot scooped the title for the 2011 Rose of Tralee.

Oh the shame. I barely made it through the video and had to watch it through my fingers. She should apologise to the women of Ireland county by county. Starting with Dublin then Cork and so forth. Thats not dancing. Thats leaping about the pub like an idiot after a few jars. Maybe being a jackeen an all she had a few jars taken before going on stage?
