Bill O'Reilly shows class by inviting Jon Stewart

Bookmark and Share

You have to hand it to Bill O'Reilly.

On Wednesday, the Fox talk-show king will host none other than Jon Stewart, his mirror opposite in very possible way.

It's the Comedy Channel meets Fox in one of the great smack-downs of this television talk era.

Okay, they did meet before in 2004 on Bill O's show, but this time, with President Obama in power, this is going to be very different.

Why did Stewart agree to go on O'Reilly's show?

Because that's where the ratings are, stupid.

And Bill has got them -- four million people a night.

Fresh of his ride around America with that evil mini-me Glenn Beck, O'Reilly seems set to push the boundaries again by having Stewart on.

But that is what is likable about Bill. Even though he is a conservative, he is not afraid to challenge and be challenged.

Really, could you imagine the quicksilver Stewart on Glenn Beck? It would be a wipeout.

But with O'Reilly, it becomes a real heavyweight bout.

Seconds out, round one.

"Likable?" Just because Bill O'Reilly is Irish does not make him likable Mr. O'Dowd. When you invite someone into your home the least you could be is polite. Calling his guest "Stewart" and throwing his finger into Jon Stewart's face - Mr. O'Reilly has once again shown us that he doesn't even possess basic polite behavior.
Keith Olbermann tells the truth and lots of people would rather jump into fire than hear the truth.
Survey says ..... voters prefer TARP bailouts for those priviliged who place tweedle dees before us. Sheep are incapable of doing other than they do - react to light and shadow and pulling levers for what they know not of.
Check the ratings guys, who gets the most viewers wins. Thats the way it is, Fox is tops; Did you ever hear or watch a more hateful guy than Keith Olberman, what a sore looser.
Why they watch Fox - the NASCAR crowd who feel comforted wallowing in their hope to see a car wreck. I christen Fox the Wrecker's channel. They have dingbats playing silly games and imagining what person's gestures, pretend. Screwballs - a channel for such homo saps.
Class shows class but lacks class in every department the ultimate pinhead who won't allow people to respond. A Bully plain and simple. Acts like a wussey with Palin, McCain and ilk of his cravings.
jflanagan "Hannity and Fox present a platform for both side?" Watch any show presented by Hannity and then watch the same topic on any other major channel, exclude MSNBC if you like, and see if you still believe they are objective and present both sides.
I heard Lannie Davis on a morning radio show state that he goes on the Fox Network, mainly Sean Hannity's show, and not MSNBC because Fox has people from both sides of the political issues while MSNBC, mainly Olberman and Maddow, only have guests who agree with them. This from a man who served under President Clinton and is definitely more liberal than most. That's why the Fox channel beats everyone else. They do present a platform for both sides to comment.
O'Reilly is really not that conservative. The Dead Old White Guys were isolationists; unlike O'Reilly. Beck claims to be a libertarian, but he's for the initiation of force against the terrorists -- whoever that is. So, we should be very circumspect about labels. Usually they are wrong!
No one thinks Bill O'Reilly has class! He just realizes where the fans are. O'Reilly does not even know what truth means. Stewart has more viewers. And Beck? He has no sense at all.
Hello again wxman, We live to dual "friendly" politics another day. Do you have an answer to the second and third question? And "Oh" on Beck, like I said in a past post, Freak shows draw huge crowds.
Hey McNamara....last time there was a balanced budget, who was in charge of congress? Ohhh thats right. REPUBLICANS!
Evil mini-me Glenn Beck? WHy do you think the tours are selling out? I love O'Reilly as much as the next guy, but Beck is number two in the country only behind Oprah. hate on him as you will, but Beck is the voice of most Americans today.
Three questions I would love Jon Stewart to ask conservative Bill "O": Hey Bill, when is the last time this country had a Balanced Budget? Answer: Bill Clinton Second question: Hey Bill, what's so "conservative" about the republicans putting two wars on credit cards, increasing the national debt by 1.3 trillion on the backs of future generations? Third question: Why do you think the conservatives were so silent when all this debt was accumulating during the prior administration?
Bill O'Rielly works for Rupert Murdoch who owns Foxc nes , he is a member of the CFR, Council on Foreign relations, an unAmerican group who have engineered the new world order headed by David Rockefeller. He also owns most of the newspapers in this country and you don't get fair and balanced news in any of them, you don't get any news. period. I am going to go wiht Jon Steewart to win the battle of the wits on this one.
