Some advice for President Obama.
Put Hillary Clinton on t e 2012 ticket.
It is time. VP Joe Biden is once again finding it necessary to proclaim that he will definitely be on the Obama 2012 ticket.
He made his latest comments during a speech in Washington when he was asked whether he would definitely be on the ticket in 2012.
Of course in Washington, the very fact that Biden has raised the issue itself is being seen as a major story.
It is clear to everyone that the Obama re-election campaign needs a change up, a new relief pitcher to rekindle interest in a president whose numbers continue to go south.
The word is out in Washington that key figures in the Obama camp are looking at a possible change with Hillary Clinton taking over as vice president for the next election.
They should bring her in from the bullpen now.
It is easy to see why the Obama administration may be considering a change. It is an administration that seems tired and increasingly out of touch.
Chief of Staff Bill Daley announced that he will be stepping aside after the first term but it has been clear for some time he has not been the central figure in advising Obama he thought he would be.
Valerie Jarrett appears to be the person with most personal clout with Obama.
A move to draft Hillary Clinton as vice president is gaining momentum say Washington sources, if only to present a new look for a jaded administration.
It would likely involve Biden becoming Secretary of State, thereby making sure he was not embarrassed and moving Hillary to the number 2 job.
Although she said she would retire after this term there is no question that Hillary Clinton remains an ambitious politician.
She has been the star in a lackluster cabinet and would definitely be a game changer if she was on the ticket
She would definitely be a great help among those disaffected Democrats who voted for her. Obama has failed to do the job well and needs help.
So there are powerful forces of work to make it happen and it should.
There is no question that Obama needs Hillary.
The question remains does she need or want him?
I think the answer to that question could still be yes.
Ask the question Barack.

Popular suggestion, but has anyone bothered to ask Hillary if she is even interested?

You need to write an article on why Hillary should keep her distance from Obama.

Bringing in your best starting pitcher to relieve is done every now and then in playoff and World Series games, but usually only after that pitcher has started at least one of the previous games. Many Democrats now believe that in the 2008 Big Series they did not start their best pitcher.

No... if Hillary Clinton is on the ballot as VP, I won't vote for him. After September 11th, when the US invaded Iraq, I have never respected those who supported the invasion. Iraq had nothing to do with September 11, nor did they have weapons of mass destruction. Think of how many Americans and innocent people from Iraq have lost their lives due to that invasion. Have we helped Iraq in any way by invading their country? No...

The only way I would ever vote for Obama for president again, is if he actually did something he said he'd do.
We should be out of these unwinnable, unending, wars by now. He should have begun getting us out of various destructive 'free trade' agreements, instead of pushing for 3 more of them. He should deny all govt subsidies to new nukes - instead of wanting more subsidies. He should have ended the war on drugs - instead of stepping it up. Some serious relief for people in foreclosure due to fraudulent loans - and some prosecutions of his Wall St buddies would be in order also.
Well what's the use? He's not real; he's a liar and a shill, and the only reason I can think of voting for him now is because he appears to be sane - which isn't true of the Republicans.
I would never in a million years vote for Hilary - or the other Clinton. The Democratic Party lost its soul a long time ago and became the party of Republican Lite.

Ah JohnKinMD. Did you not know that Joe Biden's mother was Irish. Therefore Joe should be above criticism. Hence the suggestion that the bumbling old clown should be moved to Secretary of State!

What an incredibly stupid idea. Although Obama has ruined the dollar, international relations, the US economy, scarred racial relations with his constant reverse racist strategies and class warfare.....there is no reason to ruin Hillary's life further. (Bill has already contributed to that)

Hillary may indeed run against him for President-this was obvious two years ago when Obama's were NOT invited to Chelsea's wedding.Bad blood there! The Party may ask her to save it from this dolt.

Why? The V-P goes to foreign funerals and generally runs around echoing the Presidents calls for this or that action by congress. A total waste of time except to be ready should anything happen to the President. A Primary challange makes more sense.

A terrible idea that would reek of desperation and, not to mention, incredible disloyalty to a good second in command.

Uh, Obama's problem is not Biden, it is Obama! It would not have kept the Titanic from sinking to add water-tight compartments to the Britannic!
