Memo to Harry Reid: It's time to stop flip flopping on immigration reform.
You can't go telling a huge rally in your home state one thing (that immigration reform is on the Senate's agenda) and then saying another thing Tuesday in D.C. (that immigration reform is off the Senate's agenda.)
Make your mind up Harry.
Make your mind up Harry.
You can't have it both ways.
On Saturday you wanted the Latino vote and Tuesday you want what exactly?
Reid was speaking Tuesday after the Democratic caucus luncheons.
"We have a lot of work to do," Reid said. "And we're dealing, everyone has to understand, with a party of no, that they're trying to stop everything."
We get that Harry.
But if the Republicans are "the party of no," what are the Democrats?
The party of "wait your turn for another 10 years?"
"We won't get to immigration reform this work period," he said.
Well that's not what you said Saturday Harry when you boosted the hopes of millions with your much publicized remarks in Nevada.
Just in case you've forgotten, here's a sound bite.
“We need to do this this year...We cannot wait.”
“We’re going to pass immigration reform, just as we passed health care reform."
So which is it Harry?
“We need to do this this year...We cannot wait.”
“We’re going to pass immigration reform, just as we passed health care reform."
So which is it Harry?

Hey tothineownwelf, what immigration is needed? We already have rules of law, which is the basis of this Republic. Come here legally, desire to be a United States citizen, pass the test, and we welcome you with open arms. Come here illegally, then get the blankity blank out.

The PoliticalScumBags did NOT pass health care reform, they forced it down our anti-American PoliticalScumBags throats, NONE of which read it, or even dared to ask: "WHO wrote this?" 2,074 pages of complex Legalize Jargon! What 'team'? Where are the actual authors? In what enemy country do they reside?
What Reid needs to do, is to show his love for OUR America via suicide... Today!

Harry Reid needs to start taking responsibility for his many politically-motivated statements and making plans for his impending retirement from public office. A typical Democrat who says what he thinks his constituents want to hear; but has no plans for implementation.

Well, this Congress has already created change...with that repugnant hell scare deform that the majority of the country did not want...and that's the chief reason (among others) that they're in such trouble with the electorate. Now if they want to double down on their fate and give amnesty to illegals, it'll only make it worse for them, come this November.

Patrick Roberts is right on the money. The Senate has to act and stop moistening up their fingers and stick them up in the air to see which way the political wind is blowing. They must stop being these spineless cowards who are hell-bent on hanging on to their seats instead of being bold and create the change this administration is supposed to stand for. Immigration must be a priority. And Harry Reid must put his money where his mouth is.
