Glenn Beck may run for President with conservatives behind him

The Conservative Political Action Committee conference in Washington revealed yesterday who the leader they want really is.
No, it is not Sarah Palin, who only got 7 percent of the straw poll vote, or Ron Paul, the libertarian who topped that poll, or familiar names like Mitt Romney, who fared poorly.
It was a man whose name was not even on the ballot.
Step forward Glenn Beck, and claim your rightful place.
The crowd went crazy when Beck was introduced and he didn't disappoint, with the kind of red-meat speech that had them sweating in their seats -- and boy, it was hot there.
He did it by aiming his guns squarely at the Republican Party and slamming even icons like Teddy Roosevelt for being soft on big government.
Beck is fast becoming the TV equivalent on the right of Rush Limbaugh on talk radio. But unlike Limbaugh, he may well have political ambitions.
Several of his Fox friends believe he is planning such a move in a year or two -- perhaps in time for 2012.
If so, look out.
In an era when politicians want to be celebrities and celebrities want to be politicians, Glenn Beck could make the switch easier than almost anyone.
He is a gifted speaker and knows how to push the hot buttons -- and there are plenty of those around.
Watch out for this guy running from the right in 2012.

People like Glenn Beck and George W. Bush have no respect for the office of President of the United States. If they had they would realize they are not qualified for such an honor.

Glenn Beck we don't need. It would be like voting for the Taliban or an the religious leader of Iran either one would turn this nation into another Saudi Arabian woman hating,gay bashing, religious dominated male, racist group which no one could recognize as once being so called christian.

I like Glen Beck. He is for the constitution and eliminating wasteful spending. Every bad thing he's done has been brought out by him so it would be hard for the people who don't like him to attack him.
At least he seems to know who to go to for good advice which is more than can be said of our current president. I would vote for him in a minute.
Ronald Reagan was an entertainer and I think he was the best president in this century.

Glen Beck would not win, Fox news friends are all members of the CFR,Council on Froeign Realations, so is the owner of fox news, Rupert Murdoch. Glen beck is losing favor here because of that. He is just a puppet.

People hate Glenn Beck because he speaks the truth. What is everyone so afraid of? Are you afraid of losing your nanny state? Are you worried that the government wont be there to wipe your nose for you when you sneeze? Awww poor baby. I'm all ofr it Glenn. I agree with probably 90% of what he has to say; but the presidency is not an option. He and Rush Limbaugh are entertainers first and political commentators second. On the other hand, they could do better than the obamanator (but who couldn't). To Josiesar, never believe what the mainstream media tells you.

It would be good to have an ex-drug addict in the White House, I suppose. And he is tolerant in his own way - he read a poem by a Socialist (Emma Lazurus) at the conservative conference. I imagine, however that he will invade Europe to clear it of socialists. Will start with special operatives disguised as tourists. He will increase military while vetoing all budgets because he has magical mystical underwear.
