The Doherty School of Irish Dance from the Midlands region, England/Wales claimed another 2012 British National Irish Dancing Championship title Sunday with its World Champion Senior Ladies' Ceili team. This was the fourth 2012 British National Irish Dancing Championship title for the school, with Champions Nadine Martin in Senior Ladies, Boys under 12 Sam Goldsmith and Boys under 16 Macaulay Selwood topping their event's podiums earlier on the weekend.
Scoil Rince Céim Óir from Southern region, England, claimed 4 of 6 team titles, placing third in the Senior Ladies' Ceili competition. Kidd School, from Midlands region, England/Wales, placed second in Senior Ladies Ceili and won the Girls under 12 Ceili championship.
