Woman claims her late daughter was Gaga’s inspiration

A mother who lost her daughter to suicide has asked Lady Gaga to acknowledge her daughters input into the pop queens success.
Yana Morgana is seeking permission to release an album which her daughter Kina recorded with Gaga before she committed suicide at the age of 19.
"I'm doing this because I want to keep her spirit alive," Yana, 41, told the New York Post. "Lady Gaga is holding Lina's soul, and I want her soul to be free."
In 2007 New York music producer Rob Musari introduced the pair at his studio in New Jersey in the hopes their combined talents would become the next pop sensation.
Despite their shared talent the two New Yorkers came from very different backgrounds. Lina was the daughter of Russian immigrant parents and Gaga then Stefini Germanotta was a privileged Manhattan girl.
"Lina had a hard life because we emigrated from Russia. People would make fun of her because she was different, her mom was a single mom," Yana said.
"Every other word she says is from Lina. She talks about having a dark and tragic life, but she had everything she wanted in the world. She went to [the same] high school as Nicky Hilton, her parents were rich. But Lina did have a tough life, and she often talked about her tragic life," Yana said.
Yana believes that during their collaborations her daughters fashion style and performance techniques influenced Gaga.
"I'm not looking to file a lawsuit," Yana said. "I just want them to acknowledge Lina as an artist and release her music."
