Susan Boyle has been nominated for a Juno award in the best international album category.
The news will come as a nice fillip for the Scottish singer, who reportedly has been having problems coming to terms with her global popularity.
The Junos are Canada’s major music awards and Boyle is incredibly popular there.
Despite the fact that her debut album was released in November, "I Dreamed a Dream" was still the highest selling album there last year.
Boyle will compete with The Black Eyed Peas, Kings of Leon, Britney Spears and Taylor Swift for the Best International Album award.
The winner will be announced at an awards show on April 18.
Best of luck Subo!

I think the press is having a far harder time coming to terms with Susan's global popularity than she is. Susan has said it 'rests easily on her shoulders now' and she has been busy performing in Denmark, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, and soon Japan, just since the beginning of the year.
