| Poor Niall has a hurty thumb |
The boys, described as “super-hyper” for the evening, took up a Nerf gun war amongst themselves and tour supporter Olly Murs. Tweeted Murs (@OllyOfficial), “Hahaha @Louis_Tomlinson & @Real_Liam_Payne its war!! I'm gunna get a Nerf gun lads!! Louis got me right on the back of the head!!”
Horan (@NiallOfficial) and Murs had exchanged some banter via Twitter recently proving that they’re more than just business buddies now, but in fact real friends.
Niall’s Twitter has provided a behind the scenes look at the current US tour One Direction is making it way through. He shared his thumb injury with his 3.7 million followers on Friday:
“PUT YO HANDS UP FOR DETROIT! coz i love this city..amazing gig tonight..thank you all for comin out.. i sliced my thumb on the bus.bad times”
But not even a silly little thumb injury was going to prevent Mullingar native Niall Horan from giving it his all during the next few shows. On Saturday after their Chicago concert, Horan again tweeted “What a great show in chicago, thank you all soo much, struggled playin guitar with my gomey thumb! But its cool! Xx”
One Direction will be continuing their summer tour in the Western US in the following weeks.
