Irish American heartthrob Patrick Dempsey looks like he is quitting Grey's Anatomy after seven years.
The Maine-born actor told Italian 'Vanity Fair' that the doctor known as 'McDreamy' to every female in America would no longer be in the ER after next season.
"I don't know what will happen with the other characters, but for me, it's done," "McDreamy" said. "… I can't see me doing it anymore."
However,Dempsey's publicist stated his comments were taken out of context.
"He was referring to the fact that his contract is up at the end of next season, and we have no idea what the future holds."
