Kristen Stewart of Twilight needs to handle the media much better

Bookmark and Share

Kristen Stewart is in big trouble with the media.

While it’s fine to be shy and retiring with the press, and of course have your own privacy ,there is no reason to be unfriendly.

Over the last couple of weeks there’s been a lot of comments in the press about Stewart having a bad attitude towards journalists and those in the media.

Although it’s understandable to be annoyed by paparazzi and reporters pestering you in your down time these complaints have also come from interviewers who she and “her people” have arranged to meet.

If she’s going to survive in the long-run after “Twlight” she needs to deal with her public more professionally.

Absolutely the coverage of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's rumored relationships has been insane,

Twihards are some of the most fanatical fans out there and it’s understandable to feel some pressure but that’s no reason to lash out or get so stressed out you make yourself ill, as she did just weeks ago.

Recently she was called up by the media for comparing being snapped by the paparazzi as “rape”. In fairness she did apologise for that one.

Also the paparazzi have to take the blame for Pattinson and herself being driven out of their Bel Air hideaway this week.

However while she was filming in Argentina for “On the Road” she made no effort to interact or meet up with the press and then glared at the cameras when they tried to get close to her.

It seems to me that if she wants to be more comfortable in her position as one of the most famous people in the world she need to learn how to manage the media.

To decide on her terms when she is going to speak to them. Perhaps if she gave them a little bit more she wouldn’t feel so hounded.

It may take several minutes for your comment to appear.
As VERY ANNOYING as the paparazzi and the reporters are, she'd better get used to the press and learn how to handle them. It's part of the gig. Most celebrities know that "you can't have your cake and eat it, too." The price of stardom is the loss of privacy. To what degree depends on how well the celebrity manages the press and his/herself.
