Charlie Sheen dished out some advice to Lindsay Lohan on DirectTV's "The Dan Patrick Show". Sheen gave her some pointers on how to stay on the straight and narrow and defended himself as a "seasoned professional".

Although he claims he never turned up on set of CBS' "Two and a Half Men"high he admitted "I would show up having not slept much."

He went on to describe how he would ask the director of the comedy "to move my mark a little bit so I could be next to a piece of furniture . . . so I wouldn't fall over. That is an expert move by a seasoned professional."

Sheen offered some  advice to Lindsay Lohan, who was recently released from drug rehab and has now been charged with felony grand theft over allegations that she stole a $2,500 necklace.

He advised that Lohan "Work on your impulse control."

On "The Dan Patrick Show" he also spoke about how his "party" was shut down. He said "People need to understand how supremely grateful I am that somebody stepped in here.

"Basically, Viacom showed up at my house and said, 'Dude, dude, it's getting really obvious and we're really worried about you.We care about your health'...They came in and man to man said, 'We have to shut it down.' This was the only person in my life with the power to do this."
