Guns N’ Roses front man Axl Rose walked off the stage in Dublin on Wednesday night after a water bottle was thrown at one of his band.
Rose had earlier upset the crowd at the O2 venue by showing up an hour and a half late .
He stopped the band playing during their second song 'Welcome to the Jungle' when a water bottle was thrown onto the stage.
“Here’s the deal, one more bottle, we go home," he told the crowd. "We want to stay. If you don’t want to have fun just let us know. We’ll be on our way."
Then another bottle was thrown as the guitarist Richard Fortus was starting a solo after half an hour.
Rose then walked off with the band.
Desperate efforts were made to get him back.
Promoter Denis Desmond came on stage and asked for patience.
“We’re trying hard to get Axl to come back on stage. I’m trying hard to get Axl to come back on stage. I’d ask you please to refrain from throwing items at him. I promise a great show, but you have to calm. I’m sorry about that,” he said.
But the lights came up and thousands of fans left the arena.
However, Rose then surprisingly appeared.
He said to the crowd: “Let’s try this again”. The band played until 12.52am to a small audience.

Take your pick licdeznutz, Bottles and Roses or Boos and Roses. We Irish have a sense of humour. The fact of the matter is the people throwing the bottles should have been removed by security. It was a disgrace that this band walked of the stage. Was there other reasons they walked of the stage?

Guns N'Roses should be called Bottles and Roses from now on. To have walked off the stage after fans traveling miles and paying for tickets is a disgrace.
