Back in November 2009 when Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis was fired, he was given a "termination payment" of $6.6 million.

According to reports in the Chicago Tribune, the federal tax documents showed how much he was given and also that the payments would not stop with this initial payment. The Tribune revelation states that Weis will be receiving "smaller annual payments through December 2015."

During his five seasons at Notre Dame, he went 35-27 including trips to BCS bowls in each of his first two seasons. After his second season, he went just 16-21 in his last three years before being removed from his position.

Brian Kelly, who replaced him, went 8-5 in 2010.

Weis is also getting checks in his new position as offensive coordinator at the University of Florida. He signed a three-year $2.6 million deal with the Gators earlier this year under head coach Will Muschamp.
