Celtic was shocked by Ross County in the Scottish Cup semifinal

Glasgow Celtic’s season was left in ruins after they were sensationally dumped out of the Scottish Cup semi final  by Ross County.

Second half goals by Steven Craig in the 54th minute and a second from Martin Scott two minutes from time were enough to send the huge underdogs through to the final.

The Irn-Bru First Division side was given little change before that game against their illustrious opponents, but this latest setback means the Bhoys will finish without a trophy for the first time in seven seasons.

Caretaker manager Neil Lennon could not rouse his troops or change the game effectively, and this defeat could have a huge impact on his chances of getting the job on a full-time basis.

For Robbie Keane, it means that despite being a goal machine since his arrival to Glasgow, should he leave at the end of his loan spell as he has said is most likely , it will be without any silverware.

''Words can't describe this, it's Roy of the Rovers stuff,'' goalscorer Steven Craig, told Sky Sports.

For Ross County, it is a win that will long live in the memory. For Celtic, is it is a loss that caps a forgettable season.
