Dublin easily defeated a disappointing Louth side by 2-14 to 0-13 in their All Ireland qualifier at Croke Park on Saturday,

Louth seemed to be suffering a hangover from their disputed loss to Meath and never threatened a Dublin side who had two first half goals to leave them comfortably in front throughout

Cork overcame a determined challenge to defeat Limerick by 0-16 to 1-11 after extra time to also advance to the quarter final stages.

Like in their game against Kerry in the Munster Final Limerick had their chances to pull the upset but never finished off Cork.

Kildare continued their recent good win with an easy victory over Monagahn on a score of 1-15 to 1-11 while Down created a minor shock by hammering Sligo by 3-20 to 0-10 in their qualifier.

Cork, Down, Dublin and Kildare now go into the hat against provincial champions Meath, Kerry, Tyrone and Roscommon.
