Irish boxers dominate Europe

The Republic of Ireland's boxers now look certain to bag at least four silver and five bronze medals in international competition, following their impressive seven out of seven wins in Poland and Finland.
John Joe Nevin, Joe Ward, Con Sheehan and Darren O'Neill are now all through to next week's finals at the Feliks Stamm Multi-Nations in Warsaw, Poland.
Meanwhile, Michael Conlon, Adam Nolan and David Oliver Joyce followed with sterling performances of their on leading to three quarter-final wins at the Gee Bee tournament in Helsinki this week.
The trio will join Ken Egan and Tommy McCarthy at Saturday's semi-finals in the Finnish capital.
