I attended secondary school in Kilkenny and can say with total honesty that the county as a whole is abundant with backward, narrow-minded culchies. The place as a whole seems to find it incredibly difficult to move with the times; the fact that their supporters would use a sportsman's sexuality as ammunition against him is truly testimony to the appalling ignorance of such a provincial district.

That last remark sounds like they're making a threat, which is ironic since they claim to be defending their honor from being called homophobes. If it was "ungracious" for Og to talk about the abuse he received, wasn't it worse that he was actually submitted to it? If they don't want the reputation then deal with the noisemakers.
