This article is a joke. You are just trying to get people to read this with a misleading title. Coach Kelly was on the radio this morning saying that he is staying in Cincy where he belongs. When will it get in the thick heads of you ND "fans" that it isn't the coaches, it's the talent that you DONT have. No matter who you get, you will still get blasted by USC every year, and when you only win 6 games next year, you will be begging for a new coach...
There are other reports that Bob Stoops just signed at deal at ND today on another site. To mnay rumors. I guess we will all find out here in the next few days.
Reports from Cincinnati are stating that UC just signed Brian Kelly to a new 10 year deal paying him an annual salary of 5 million a year with the oppurtunity for another 3 million a year in incentives. Sorry Irish fans. The job is not as pretty as you might think.
The key word is EXPECTED, I do not think so. He is a Bearcat from the start and will continue to be so. That being said, let's let Coach Kelly alone. He signed an EXTENTION with U.C. All this is just a BAD RUMER.
I'm sitting here watching Coach Brian Kelly signing an extension @ UC .Stick that in your hat South Bend !
He just said on the Dan Patrick show this morning that he is staying in Cinci. He then repeated this to local sport talks shows. On top of that Swarbrick himself said that it wasn't until after the Navy Game that he started to consider removing Weis as HC, 3 games after USC. I dont' think your source has it right but I hope he does.
Lay off the informed sources/well informed/etc.. and state what is. Until you do it is all just propoganda and you don't know anything we already don't think. If true, say so, if not continue to be a gossip site.
