AT&T now best bet to drop Tiger Woods, says top Irish bookie
Paddy Power says Nike, Titleist to stay
Irish bookmaker Paddy Power is taking bets on who will be the next sponsor to drop Tiger Woods from their roster.
With Accenture already leading the way and Chevy not far behind, Tiger's backers are dropping out fast.
Paddy Power rates AT&T at 7/4 (ie. $4 down wins you $7 if Woods is dropped) as the next favorite to drop Woods, with General Mills at 9/4, Gillette at 3/1 and American Express at 6/1.
Nike, his biggest single sponsor left, is unlikely to drop the champion, say Paddy Power. He is 33/1 with them to stay on board with the footwear and golf club giant.
Titlelist, the golf ball company, are even more committed to Woods, it appears. They are at 40/1 to drop him.
Meanwhile Netjets, the private plane hire company, are 12/1 and Golf Digest is 16/1 to split from Tiger, with Upper Deck trading cards at 10/1.
Paddy Power says it will pay out whenever there is an official announcement from the company that they are dropping Woods.
