A little-known Irish band has been featured on the website of one of the biggest bands in the world.

TouchWood, based in Wexford, comprises Michael Fleming, Bryan Fleming, Darren McConville, Mark Caplice and Sam Ali.

Now, the Hypnofeed section of Coldplay’s website, which features 25 videos of different types and different stripes all voted for by fans of the English band, has taken a liking to the young Irish band.

Singer and pianist Sam Ali told WorldIrish that the band is focused on finishing their EP and that in the meantime they’re looking forward to playing at the Gorey Street Festival in August. Check out the song below (quite a Coldplay feel to it!):
