Upcoming Educational and Cultural Events at the Irish Cultural Centre

Whether it’s at a fun time in the Pub, on the dance floor or in the lecture hall, you’ll be meeting new friends and old at the Irish Cultural Centre of New England in Canton during these upcoming events:
-ICC Set Dancing for Adults with Cait Diamond, Monday, December 3rd from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Every Monday throughout the year. $5 donation to the ICC at the door. No partner necessary.
-Irish Faces and Places by Irish-born artist Vincent Crotty. Opening Reception, ICC Pub, Thursday, November 29th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. All are welcome. Complimentary appetizers and cash bar.
-ICC Author Series Meet and Greet with James Redfearn, author of award-winning The Rising at Roxbury Crossing, Saturday, November 30th at 7 p.m. Free.
-Breakfast with Santa Saturday, December 1st at 10 am.
-Irish & African Roots of American Music, lecture presented by Mick Moloney, Saturday, December 1st, 7:30 p.m. Tickets $10 at the door.
-Irish Mass & Breakfast, Sunday, December 2nd at 11 a.m. Breakfast following Mass for a charge of $12 for adults; $5 for ages 4 to 12; and children age 3 and under for free.
-Genealogy 101 ICCNE Library workshop on Saturday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Presented by Michael Brophy. Catholic records and resources will be emphasized. $20 for ICCNE members; $25 for non-members. This is a repeat of the October 13th workshop.
-ICC Canton Céilí, Sunday, December 9th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. $10 per person. Enjoy traditional dances and live Irish music. No partners necessary.
-ICC Annual Raffle and Holiday Open House, Saturday, December 15th from 6 p.m. featuring live music, dancing, food and a cash bar. This is your chance to win the $30,000 raffle prize. You do not have to be present to win, but you need to purchase your ticket by December 15th.
