Sarah Chapple-Sokol

Sarah Chapple-Sokol, a native of Arlington MA, has recently joined the IIIC as the new Education Coordinator. Sarah is a graduate of Colby College, in Maine, where as an undergraduate she studied Anthropology and Music. She then continued her education and went onto study a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Relations at Lesley University, Cambridge MA.

Having grown up in Arlington, New York and outside Burlington, Vermont, Sarah is a seasoned traveller. She has lived abroad in South Africa, France, and Israel and has previously worked as an ESOL teacher. For fun, Sarah enjoys singing, exploring Boston, eating good food, running, reading, speaking French and travelling. It is through her interest in the immigrant community in Boston that Sarah found out about the position at the IIIC.

“I am really enjoying working at the IIIC! The work I am doing is interesting and satisfying; my co-workers and the clients are wonderful, and the mission of the IIIC really speaks to me. I am very lucky to have landed in this place!”

Sarah will be coordinating our ESOL, Citizenship Education and Career Advancement programs. The IIIC welcomes Sarah, and wishes her every success in her new role.
