Spiderman, the Broadway show featuring original music by Bono and The Edge, has been postponed for several weeks after technical issues arose that could not be solved in time for the planned opening next month.

The $60 million show will now debut in January while technical crews race to make the show safe for spectators and actors.

Two actors were injured in a high flying scene during rehearsal and it was after that that the producers decided to shut it down and wait until all technical glitches were ironed out.

The New York Department of Labor was called in and they are demanding safe conditions for all workers before the show can go on.

The show has been plagued with delays and setbacks and will now miss the lucrative Christmas/New Year season. It was due to open on December 22nd.
