Ever the jokester, George Clooney recently revealed that actor and ‘Ides of March’ co-star Ryan Gosling looked to Clooney for help in attaining People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man of the Year’ award, of which Clooney is a two-time victor of.

The Huffington Post reports that at a screening of his upcoming film ‘The Descendents,’ of which Clooney is already gathering Oscar buzz for, he quipped that "He [Gosling] really wants it," referring to the ‘Sexiest’ title.

"He's been saying... the whole time we were on the set of 'Ides,' he was like, 'How did you pull that off?' So I called up Brad Pitt and we worked with him for weeks on the walk... we told him how to train... everything,” said Clooney to Extra.

Gosling was honored to work with Clooney on ‘The Ides of March,’ stating profoundly that working with Clooney was “"like watching a unicorn being born every day,” at the Toronto Film Festival.
