An 81-year old pensioner may be the new Susan Boyle according to British media reports.

Mother of-seven Janey Cutler , who has 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren, blew away Simon Cowell and company with a rendition of Je Ne Rerette Rien on the new series of 'Britain's Got Talent.'

Piers Morgan describes it as “astonishing” and “spine-tingling”.

“I like singing, my friends say go in for it, better late than never. I’ve had a great life, seven kids, hard times, happy times, no regrets”

But she almost did not make it to the show.

Her friend, musical director Terry Moore, stated: “When I suggested that she enter Britain’s Got Talent Janey wasn’t sure at first. She said, ‘What, at my age?’ But she entered online and the judges loved her. She sounds like Shirley Bassey in her heyday, only better."
