Top model Elle Macpherson

As Rupert Murdoch, his son James and former News of the World editor Rebekah Brooks, are being grilled by the British Parliament it has emerged that supermodel Elle Macpherson and her business manager have been victims of the News Corps phone hacking.

Macpherson's former business manager, Mary Ellen Field, has brought files before the court which claim that Macpherson received a $1.6 million payment from Rupert Murdoch's News International. The files also claimed that Macpherson received the role as the host of Ireland and Britain's "Next Top Model" as a payoff for the hacking.

Field said that in 2005, during Macpherson's split from her partner, Arpad Busson, the News of the World published an article about her two children and their messy custody battle. The only person Macpherson had confided in was Field. Macpherson fired Field who had helped her create a $48 million company, she told ABC.

In 2007 News of the World reporter Clive Goodman was convicted with relation to phone hacking. Private investigator Glenn Mulcaire was also jailed for six months with relation to hacking the phones of members of the Royal Family. In court Mulcaire admitted to hacking Mcpherson's phones between July 2005 and January 2006.

The News of the World has threatened to print a story based on facts that could have only been obtained through eavesdropping. Before the case went to court he was given a check for $750,000 by Rupert Murdoch's son, James.

A lawyer representing Taylor, Mark Lewis, said that following the issuing of the check Murdoch's corporation contacted him and told him not to represent any other victims of phone hacking.

Today speaking to British Parliament Rurpert Murdoch said this was "most humble day of my life." However her refuses to take any responsibility for the phone hacking and corruption that went on in the News of the World and his other newspapers.

Jim Sheridan, a member of Parliament asked "Mr. Murdoch do you accept you are ultimately responsible for this whole fiasco?" He responded by saying "No".

Later on in the hearing an attacking through what appeared to be pie in Murdoch's face. Murdoch's wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, took at swing at the intruder before he was taken away.
