A new poll carried out by Quinnipiac University shows that 58 percent of registered voters in the United States "would never vote" for Sarah Palin of Donald Trump in the 2012 Presidential Election.

Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Polling Institute, told Yahoo "Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee are in the best shape. Sarah Palin and Donald Trump suffer from the reality that, as our mothers told us, 'You never get a second chance to make a first impression.'"

This independent poll sought to record US voter's enthusiasm for potential Republican candidates. The polls showed that former Governors Mitt Romney of Massachusetts and Mike Huckabee of Arkansas topped the poll in enthusiasm.
